Hi, I'm Ms. Noonan!
This is my fourth year teaching at the Wright and I will be your 5th grade writing teacher this year! I love reading and writing, listening to music (especially Taylor Swift!) and playing with my dog, Ranger! My favorite color is yellow, which goes perfectly with my favorite sports team, the Boston Bruins! Oh, and also I love Starbucks, you'll definitely see me with a Starbucks cup in hand this year!
We will be doing a lot of fun writing assignments this year and I can't wait to meet you and and get started!

I'm from Phoenix, Arizona and went to Arizona State University. After, I moved to Spain and then Ecuador to teach English.

About 5th Grade Writing:
An Overview:
In writing we will cover the 3 main types of writing: narrative, informational, and argument!
We will do this in many different ways! A few examples are personal narratives, biographies, and argument writing pieces!
I LOVE student choice, so you will always have a say in the topic you are writing about! :)
How to Find Classwork:
I will be posting all writing assignments on Google Classroom. You must use your student @chelseaschools.com email to log into Google Classroom.
