Elementary Summer Math

Research shows that students experience learning loss when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. In an effort to mitigate summer learning loss, we have compiled a variety of math tasks in Summer Homework Packets. These packets are differentiated by grade-level. The content is aligned to the grade-level math standards taught during the school year. Each week during summer vacation, students in first grade through fourth grade are asked to complete one page in their summer homework packet. Students should return their completed packet at the beginning of the new school year to their new teacher.
