Peer tutoring is a matching system where students in need of academic support are matched with CHS students who have volunteered as peer tutors. Students can ask for help themselves, but often other students are recommended to me by teachers, guidance, counselors, or parents/guardians.Tutoring can happen anywhere: in Room 203 before/after school, during PRIDE, or even through Google Meet.
Mr.Courtemanche firmly believes that peer to peer tutoring is the most effective type. It’s very rewarding to help out your peers & earn community service hours as well.
Prospective tutors can come to Room 203 to chat about the service & sign up!
