About Mr. Gorelick
"I am a 2009 Cherry Hill West graduate. Since 1965, seventeen members of my family (including all my siblings and both of my parents) have graduated from West, and another eight cousins graduated from East.
I have an MA from Wilkes University and a BA from Rutgers University, and I have taken courses at Temple University, Burlington County College, and Camden County College.
I started working at West as a substitute teacher in 2014, and, in 2018, I became a full-time faculty member in the English Department, teaching ELA 1A, 2A, and 4A over the years. In 2023, I began teaching entirely Film, Broadcasting, and Theater classes and switched to the Performing Arts Department.
In 2021, I took over the West Broadcasting Program, and since then, the program has expanded from 40 students in the 2021-22 school year to over 150 students in the 2024-25 school year. West Broadcasting has also seen the addition of three upper-level courses: Film Making in 2023, Broadcasting III in 2024, and Broadcasting IV in 2025.
Not too shabby for a guy with a theater degree..." ~CPG
