        Our school gives all students 6th-8th grades the opportunity to experience music in a classroom setting no matter what level or skill they come in at.  From a student who has no experience to a gifted one who has been taken lessons for years, there are  plenty of opportunities for everyone to have success and fun in class.  Throughout a student's time at Beck they will learn and explore basic techniques of playing the piano/keyboard and the guitar.  In addition, they will be able to try their hands at creating music and manipulating sounds through our technology based experiences with the use of online software, drum machines and midi keyboards.  Also they will learn and be exposed to basic music facts, music theory, music history and much more.

3. Remain in your seat unless given permission to stand.

4. Raise your hand to speak.

5. Adhere to the hand signal when given by focusing on the teacher and giving your undivided attention.

6. Respect the space, property and feelings of others.  Treat everyone the way you want to be treated. 

7. Respect school property including furniture and equipment in the room.

8. Always do your best.
