2025-26
What I learned from this project is to not focus on 100% copying the instructions and adding your own creativity. We used modifiers like Edit Poly, Bevel, Extrude, and Inset. All of these modifiers allowed for the depth and symmetry on my Fighter Jet. One thing that was difficult about this project was changing back and forth between Vertices, Edges, and Faces for the different modifiers. I am proud of how the cockpit and the nose of the ship looks. I am going to use Edit Poly, Bevel, Extrude, and Inset on future projects that require detail and symmetry.
Field Scene - 3/7/26
One challenge I faced during my Field Scene was variation. Making the mushrooms and rocks look realistic but simple at the same time. And having differences in sizes, shapes, and colors. The flowers were especially challenging because of the array tool which needed the one petal to be perfectly centered. But I overcame these obstacles and made this amazing scene.
I am most proud of the mouth part on my Nun-chucks of Lightning model. This was especially challenging due to the amount of vertices I had to manage at one time, and not allowing them to conflict with each other. Another challenge was having all the pieces be to scale to my very small amount of reference images. These challenges helped me push on and achieve a great peice.
