Asset Example - for my examples that i felt most proud of were my field scene, and my space ship project the module that stressed me out the most was the Lego minifigure.
it took me over 5 weeks of coming during lunch to complete and i hope you all enjoy it
I really enjoyed working on the field scene and really wanted to match fall look at it, since I started working on it during the fall of October and September and I matched it well, but I was planning to add a big tree in the middle of everything and like fallen leaves around to further match the fall feeling I wanted to make, and it was a blast experimenting with different tools to make certain shapes in the mushrooms and flowers and was fun scattering or placing certain objects I modeled around the field, and it was fun making the little flower garden in the corner, which was my favorite section of it, and if there was any time when I could improve something about it the only changes or additions I would make would be making that tree in the middle as I had originally had planed to do along with some fallen leaves to further give it a fall season look to it.
for some reason while working on the Lego minifigure 3ds max would keep freezing up and crashing and resetting all my progress over and over again but didn't for any of the other projects i was working on and no one else having that problem was really confusing considering i was doing exactly what the video said like everyone did.
The Lego minifigure had me really close to just giving up all together and just forgetting about my goal of learning how to 3d model and start to 3d print what I modeled, but I'm happy that it's finished and am still confused about why this very specific model had 3ds max acting weird by freezing up and not saving any of my progress and crashing and wish not to have those problems appear ever again and hopefully not fall back on my grades in 2nd quarter like I did in 1st quarter, but I am happy I didn't give and kept perusing in completing my goal to learn how to model objects and use tools that I never used before because if I didn't, I would never have been able to even have the chance to do the field scene and actually challenge myself to do something that I never could before.
it took me a lot of lunch hours and school hours to work on it but it was worth it at the very end of it and i am really happy on how it turned out.
I am really happy with how my spaceship turned out, and I would love to have done something like that again, but this time, without the stress of already being behind at work doing the setbacks that the Lego minifigure had set on me, and it would take several days of spending lunch hours and class hours to complete it but in my opinion it was all worth it considering how it turned out and looks because I really enjoyed modeling this along with the field scene that had completed and if I could make any changes any neaten anything of it I would maybe make the front of the spaceship have a bit more detail and be more than just flat shaped face of a spaceship and be more intricate on what's on the front of it and keep going from there, and I would probably change up the back boosters of the ship and maybe add a few doors or something and I would make a fin at the top of the spaceship or a hatch of some sort instead of doors and I would love to add like some boosters on the wings along with the boosters on the back of the ship and I would add fire coming out the back of the spaceships rocket boosters.
