Students have been the leaders throughout the entire Next Tech Showcase process. From designing logos, capturing life experiences, and defining topics of games, students have led the charge.
Student games created in Game Art & Design will play a prominent role in the Next Tech Showcase. The games were each made in 3 person teams in the Game Art & Design course. They were created in the Unity game engine.
In addition to VR games, students will be offering their non-VR games to play on tables dispersed around the Century Center.
In the upcoming weeks, we will be adding details of the VR games available for play at the Next Tech Student Showcase. Stay tuned!
Student design ideas were used to create the NEXT logo. Their designs will also be used throughout the layout of the event.
Student's captured their inspirational trip to Washington D.C. in immersive 360 giving you the opportunity to explore the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Howard University, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial with them.
Videos will be accessible via your mobile device using QR codes and can be viewed with a mobile device (with or without a Google Cardboard) or with a VR system.
