• Team looks at qualitative data (work samples and checklists)

• Letters are sent home in spring 2024 if a child is or is not identified.

• District team analyzes quantitative and qualitative data. See details here.

• Letters are sent home ONLY if a child qualifies for the program.

Testing is for:

• all 3rd graders, unless families opt out

• new to district 4th and 5th graders, unless families opt out

• referred 5th graders. Families MUST opt in.

• COGAT testing Late October - Mid November

• Terra Nova testing Late November - December
