Role of the Gifted Education Specialist at Estes Hills:
Consult with classroom teachers to create differentiated curriculum and critical thinking opportunities for students.
Coordinate testing for COGAT and Terra Nova.
Lead the AIG identification process
Facilitate staff development
Push into classrooms for PETS lessons (K-3) and pull groups of identified students for thinking skills lessons.
