Hello, Cougar Nation!
As part of our ongoing effort to increase our support and commitment to the safety and well-being of our student-athletes and spectators, we are making some important changes to our spectator expectations for all athletic events.
Moving forward, all spectators will be asked to remain in the designated bleacher areas. Spectators will no longer be permitted to sit inside the field of play or behind the goalposts.
For everyone's safety, we will have orange cones marking areas that spectators are not permitted to enter, along with barriers behind the home team benches and along the opposite sideline.
For our indoor events, we kindly ask spectators to be mindful of the timing of their movement in and out of the gym.
If you need to use the restroom, visit the concession stand, or step out of the gym, please wait until the ball is not in play or, for volleyball or basketball, until the ball is not being served or on the other side of the court. This small courtesy goes a long way in showing support and respect for both teams, our opponents, and especially our student-athletes who are competing.
For the safety of our students, spectators, and campus community, dogs, bicycles, and motorized bicycles are not permitted on campus during athletic events, with the exception of approved service animals and authorized vehicles.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation and support as we work to create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and continued support of Culbreth Athletics!
