I'm very proud of my modeling project, I decided to model a skeleton knife. I started with a box with a large number of segments, I scaled some of the segments to create a thinner edge of the knife, I moved vertices to create a knife like shape. for the handle hole I simply used a Boolean modifier. For the hollow blade, I scaled down the knife and cut off the handle to create an appealing shape. Finally I made the handle as a cylinder with multiple segments and scaled them to create a handle-like shape.
For the four corners scene, I created two versions a standard version, and a dark-themed version. I personally prefer the dark theme as I think it looks really nice. I used cylinders and cones for the trees, cylinder & a sphere for the igloo, spheres for the snowman, boxes for the boxes (I know crazy), and pyramids for the pyramids (insane).
I learned how to use the Loft modifer to create this screwdriver. It was a really good learning experience and I feel more confident in 3D modeling skills. In this project I learned about compound objects, a useful feature in 3DS Max.
