Talk: "If I Do Not Go Within, I Go Without"
Dr. Surinder Arora is well known for taking a holistic approach to oral health and sees her role as a dentist as ‘putting the mouth back into the body'. She qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in the UK and is a certified Biological Dentist. She is a Certified Health Coach, Kundalini Yoga Teacher and has a Master’s Degree in Public and Mental Health. Trained as a dentist and driven by ambition, she moved across the globe pursuing the career and experience she thought would bring fulfilment. Instead, she found herself searching for more. Her deep dive for answers led her into holistic dentistry, where she began to see the mouth not as teeth in isolation, but as a window into the health of the whole body. Talk: "The Stories That Make Us Whole"
Dennet Krishnan is the co-founder of TableMinis, a Singapore-based studio dedicated to tabletop roleplaying, live storytelling, and immersive community experiences. As both a business leader and professional Dungeon Master, he has built a career around the power of games to bring people together, spark imagination, and create meaningful human connection.
In a fast-paced society like Singapore, stories are often treated as a luxury rather than a necessity. As life grows busier, many of us lose touch with the books, worlds, and shared narratives that once helped us imagine beyond ourselves. Yet stories do far more than entertain. They shape how we see other people, how we understand our place in the world, and how we make sense of change, conflict, and community.
Talk: "Many Me's: Growing Up Between Two Worlds"
Jiaqi (Emily) is a 17-year-old student currently studying at Chatsworth. She grew up in Shanghai, China, and spent the first 14 years of her life there. She came to Singapore by herself when she was 15, and it made her start thinking about some questions she had never thought about before—identity, language, and what it means to feel whole.
What happens when you grow up in one language and suddenly have to live in another? After moving from Shanghai to Singapore at 14, I found myself becoming somehow different—not just in how I spoke, but in who I was. In this talk, I reflect on my feelings about living between different languages, places, and identities, exploring multiple versions of ourselves, and how that might be what makes us whole.
Talk: "From Rebellion to Inspiration - A Journey of Transformation "
Zhizhou (Marian) is a 17-year-old student at Chatsworth International School. As she approaches adulthood, she finds herself asking more and more questions—about who she is, what she values, and what kind of person she wants to become. She believes this is the age to explore, so she has tried to say yes to as many things as possible. She joined her school’s badminton team, picked up the guitar, and began exploring handicrafts like embroidery and bracelet-making. She also co-founded Silver Sayang, a student-led organisation where a group of students regularly visit elderly residents at nursing homes—because she believes change begins with small acts.
Through all of this, she has learned that the search for wholeness doesn’t begin out there; it begins within oneself. In her talk, she takes the audience through her turbulent journey of dismantling and rebuilding herself. Through the process of breaking apart and piecing herself back together, she came to understand what wholeness truly means. Wholeness doesn’t require seeking something from the outside world—it asks us to hold up a mirror and look inward.
