In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxChatsworthInternationalSchool, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxChatsworthInternationalSchool event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
About TEDxChatsworth
TEDxChatsworthInternationalSchool is an independently organized event which will be held on our campus on May 16th, 2026. The theme for this year is, What Makes Us Whole and the event will be taking you on a remarkable journey granting you the opportunity to explore the parts of life that make (and have made) you who you are today. We embrace the theme "What Makes Us Whole" because the world we live in often becomes fragmented, leaving spaces and gaps in our being. This year’s TEDx theme, “What Makes Us Whole,” invites us to explore what it truly means to be the fullest version of ourselves.
Through talks by young people and adults from across Singapore and around the world, we’ll look at the forces that shape our collective wholeness - from hobbies and purpose, to the sense of loss or grief and yes…even a little magic - all of which make up the puzzle pieces of our existence. Together, we’ll consider how to rebuild connection in divided times, how to find meaning amidst change, and how to nurture the parts of ourselves - emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual - that make us feel fully alive.
We are so excited to welcome all of you to the TEDxChatsworth event for 2026. Our theme has been carefully selected and our speakers have been chosen to represent many perspecives on the idea "What Makes Us Whole". Please join us in attending this event - we look forward to seeing you soon.
