Meet the Staff

Hi! I'm Ms. Marsh, the Student Assistance Counselor at Chatham High School. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with my MA in Counselor Education. I have lived in New Jersey my entire life, except while I attended the University of Delaware as an undergraduate student!

My services include individual counseling, group counseling, treatment referrals, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and consultation. Any students facing a hardship may seek out my services. I work with students on a variety of issues to help them find success. 

I enjoy working with students to promote well-being, and I am passionate about helping each student that I work with reach personal goals. My interests include mindfulness, substance abuse prevention, and holistic wellness. 

It is my goal to provide students, staff, and families with appropriate resources to promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all.

Hi! I'm Mrs. Mandala, formerly known in Chatham Schools as Ms. Emr. I received both my BA in Psychology and MA in Counselor Education from TCNJ. My career started as a school counselor in central NJ. I've worked at CMS as the SAC since 2013. 

My passion is in getting to know students in the crucial middle school years, and helping them learn how to manage life's ups and downs, feel a sense of confidence in who they are, and find success academically, socially, and emotionally.

I'm particularly interested in Social & Emotional Learning, mindfulness, Restorative Practices, grief and loss, suicide prevention, and substance abuse prevention.

I'm available to meet with all CMS students regardless of grade level, House, or program. This role complements the work of the teachers, school counselors, and child study team.
