The Intensive English Program (IEP) of Changhua Government, in partnership with the five complete middle schools of Changhua County and California State University-San Marcos (CSUSM), officially launched its  114 Spring Semester on February 15, 2024, with a formal opening ceremony. 

The event was attended by distinguished Changhua County Government officials, CSUSM professors, principals & directors, foreign English teachers, and students from the five participating schools, namely: Changhua Arts High School, Chengoong High School, Erlin High School, Hemei High School, and Tianjhong High School.

Following the opening ceremony, enrolled students took the placement test to assess their English proficiency levels.  The session concluded with a dynamic "Getting to Know You" activity, allowing students to engage with their peers and instructors, setting a positive tone for the semester. 

As the program progresses, students will participate in structured online sessions aimed at strengthening their English communication skills. With the continued support of the Changhua County Government, the initiative remains a key component of the county's commitment to bilingual education and global learning opportunities.
