Overview:

• School begins at 8:30 am. (Please do not arrive to school before 8:15 am.)

• Dismissal is at 3:15 pm.

• Students may be dropped off in the traffic circle in front of the school. Students will have their temperature taken upon arrival. (Please refer to the division's COVID-19 Protocol resource for information regarding "Arrival at School".)

• Parent drop-offs and pick-ups will occur outside.

• Students may walk or ride a bike to school. Students will have their temperature taken upon arrival to the campus. (Please refer to the division's COVID-19 Protocol resource for information regarding "Arrival at School".)

• Given CDC regulations, there are limitations on the number of available seats on school busses. At this point, if you are interested in reserving a seat on the school bus please reach out to Mr. Kevin Anderson, assistant principal. He can be reached at andersk3@charlottesvilleschools.org. NOTE: Bus space is very limited. Buford is presently contacting those families who are being offered bus service. Other students should find alternative transportation. If you are unsure whether your student has a confirmed spot on the bus or if your child needs to be added to a waitlist for bus transportation, please contact the school.
