This picture shows a connected solder bridge. This problem happens when you accidentally connect two pins with solder, and can cause problems ranging from your circuit not working to your circuit melting or catching fire. to fix a solder bridge, reheat up the solder and then use a solder sucker on the liquefied solder to take away all the solder and then re solder it. Solder bridges can cause many problems for electronic problems so its good we now know about them.
This is my first assignment in engineering 9th grade and i'm really excited for what will come next.
Hello, me name is Noah and I'm 15 years old. My older brother Graham has graduated from Latin and finished Fab academy and the engineering program and is starting at northeastern in Boston. My other brothers are not much of engineers so they don't really matter for this paragraph. I learn best when I'm given lots of freedom, which the slides for classes do perfectly. I'm motivated just by my love for engineering and and computers. I signed up for EDM because of it sounding like a more advanced engineering class than what I did last year, and I am most excited to make more things and learn about more tools in engineering. In my free time I like to code and play videogames. I hope this year of engineering was as good as the last.
Something that I designed and built and was really proud of was the Capstone project that we did in engineering last year. I didn’t choose the design, but I did choose to add support for a WiFi to it so that I could control it over a website. The process I Used was seeing how we supposed to make it, and figuring out how to add in a different microcontroller. Some issues I had was I origninally wanted it to be battery operated, but due to the microcontroller that I was using, I sadly couldn’t and made it wall powered instead.
I've allways been a big apple fan as you can see from my ipad air ultra besides this
