About Mrs. Mann

My name is Mrs. Mann and I am thrilled to serve in Charlotte ISD.  I have been an educator for 17 years. I graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Early Childhood Education (2006) and from Angelo State University with a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling (2019). I love helping students navigate through the different range of emotions that come with going to school and becoming a teenager and young adult, teaching students how to repair harm in order to become a strong school family, and guiding students to realize their social-emotional abilities, coping skills, and self-regulation skills.

My family and I moved to the area from Lubbock in June of 2022. I am a wife, mom to three girls and three four legged fur babies. I enjoy watching my girls ride their horses, spending time with my family, reading, hiking and exploring.

"I believe that educators are given the great task of preparing children and young adults for life.  Education is not an imitation of life but a preparation for life.  The essence of education is to acquire knowledge to become successful students and productive citizens." ~Mrs. Mann
