The Brody Reynolds Balcony Scholarship was created in honor of Brody Reynolds, a former Wando High School student, and celebrates students who exemplify kindness, empathy, leadership, and the ability to uplift others. This scholarship reflects the foundation's mission that every day counts and recognizes students who positively impact those around them.
Scholarship Overview:
• $2,000 One-Time Scholarship Award
• Open to graduating seniors who demonstrate strong character and social-emotional awareness.
• Nomination Deadline: March 12th; students can submit nominations by video or essay.

Working with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) and businesses, a job board has been created for young jobseekers – the Youth Employment Site (YES).
This online job database is a safe and interactive introduction to the workforce with a myriad of resources. Young people can find part-time, after-school or weekend jobs across the state in various industries. In addition to learning about teamwork and collaboration in the classroom, a student who has a job also learns about responsibility, financial planning, time management and teamwork at the workplace.
