"The beginning is always today"
~Mary Shelley
A brand-new year is here, bringing fresh possibilities and endless excitement! As Anne Shirley of Green Gables so wisely said, "Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." With a January full of tomorrows, the Media Center has plenty of fun lined up to kick off 2025. Let's dive in!
🍬 First up: Candy!
Didn't get your fill of sweets over the holidays? No worries—January 10 is National Candy Month! Indulge in your favorite treat (no judgment if it's for breakfast), and snag a book with "sweet" in the title. Who says sugar and stories don't mix?
🎨 Color Us Excited for Winnie the Pooh
If coloring and everyone's favorite honey-loving bear are your thing, swing by January 18 for a Winnie the Pooh-themed coloring sheet. Whether you're channeling Eeyore vibes or Tigger energy, there's no wrong way to add a splash of color to the Hundred Acre Wood.
❄️ Snow Much Fun!
Love snow? Then mark your calendar for World Snow Day on January 19. Drop by the Media Center during lunch to make paper bag snowflakes. The best part? You can take a little "snow" home—no mittens required!
🧱 Brick by Brick, It's Lego Time!
Attention all Lego enthusiasts: International Lego Day is January 28, and we have a stash of bricks with your name on it! Stop by during lunch and build something amazing. Whether you're crafting a tiny masterpiece or an epic castle, the sky's the limit. Unless we run out of bricks.
Start the year with a lot of fun at the Media Center. We look forward to seeing you soon!
