HOW TO GET A CALCULATOR
The Media Center has a limited supply of Texas Instrument calculators for students to borrow. Log into your CCSD school email account, fill out the agreement form (see below), and select your teacher's preferred model from the dropdown menu.
CHARGING YOUR CALCULATOR
The Media Center does not provide charging cords, however, they you can buy one off of Amazon or through local retailers like Target and Walmart. Some teachers may have charging boxes in their rooms or you can bring yours to the Media Center and we will charge it.
WHEN TO GET A CALCULATOR
Distribution will begin the week of August 17, with priority given to EOC and freshman classes, and scheduled through your teacher.
CHARGE TO POWERSCHOOL ACCOUNT
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CALCULATOR.
Should you lose your calculator during the school year, someone takes it by accident or on purpose, or your fail to return the calculator on or before May 20, 2027, a replacement fee of $150 will be placed on your PowerSchool account.
RETURNING A CALCULATOR
When returning calculator, it should be fully charged and clean of pencil and pen markings, food bits, stickers, etc. Please DO NOT remove the calculator's barcode label.
The calculator MUST be undamaged and in good, working condition or you will be responsible for its replacement cost of $150.
I LOST MY CALCULATOR
If your calculator is lost or stolen, please come talk to us ASAP so we can assist you!
I FORGOT MY CALCULATOR AND I HAVE A TEST!
As much as we would like to help you, we do not have enough calculators to give out to students who forget their calculators. Please plan ahead and be responsible with the calculator you are provided, particularly on testing days.
