Wando High School Graduation 2021

Due to COVID-19, please review logistics for our graduation ceremonies to ensure the safety of our students and their families.

Graduation Supplies Delivery

If you missed the Jostens delivery for graduation supplies on campus, no need to worry. You can pick up your orders directly from Carroll School Services (our local Jostens company). Their office is located off of Clements Ferry Road. You will find the address, phone number, and office hours below. We recommend you call their office to verify your order before making the trip.

Day of the Ceremony

Up to six (6) guests per graduate will be permitted on the day of the ceremony.

Before the Ceremony

• Enter the main entrance to Wando High School on Warrior Way.

• DO NOT DECORATE YOUR CAP!!! Students will not be allowed to participate if cap has been decorated.

• Each student will be allowed to have six (6) guests. More information will be forthcoming.

• Any guest who leaves the stadium will not be allowed re-entry.

• All attendees will wear a mask while entering and moving to and from their seats.

• Social distancing of at least 6’ must be observed.

• Guests will be directed to designated seating areas in the stadium. Home and guest stands will both be available.

• Graduation programs will be waiting for the graduates in their seats on the field. Graduates should take these keepsakes when they exit the ceremony. Graduation programs for guests will be available as you enter the stadium.

• Graduates will be directed to the field to sit. (Please see "Graduate Information" page for row assignments and more information).

• Any items carried into the stadium must be in a clear bag. (Click here for more information on CCSD's clear bag policy.)

• Students may only bring graduation cords and stoles issued by Wando High School or a Wando High School organizations. No other items will students be allowed to bring to their seats.

• Attendees are encouraged to bring an umbrella and seat cushions. (Please be prepared for the warm temperatures, bright sun for our morning ceremony, and pesky no-see-ums for our evening ceremonies.)

• No signs, balloons, air horns, whistles, or noisemakers should be brought to the ceremony.

During the Ceremony

• Guests may take masks off while seated.

• Graduates may remove masks when leaving their seats to receive diplomas.

• Graduates need to practice social distancing (6') when leaving their seats for the stage and returning to their seats.

• Guests must remain in their seats unless visiting the restroom or being instructed to exit at the end of the ceremony.

• Any guest who leaves the stadium will not be allowed re-entry.

After the Ceremony

• Graduates and guests should remain seated until dismissed.

• Graduates and guests must go directly to cars and exit.

• No gatherings in the stadium or parking lot will be permitted.

Graduation Photography

• Grad Images will be taking photos of each graduate at the ceremonies. To sign up to receive notification when proofs are ready and receive a 20% on your future photo order, please visit this page to register.

• Photos will be available on their website 10 days after the event.
