The Lucy Beckham High School CEEB code is 410068.
Students at Lucy Beckham High School will have many opportunities to take tests in the College Board's (collegeboard.org) suite of assessments. Students should ensure they only have one account with the College Board and use this to register for any Saturday/National testing or AP classes. We recommend that students use their personal email address for the College Board account to ensure access after high school. For help with logging into an existing account, creating an account or if you aren't sure if you have an account, visit https://pages.collegeboard.org/account-help
LBHS staff does not have access to student usernames and passwords for the College Board and students are responsible for keeping track of this themselves.

Each Spring, AP students have an opportunity to take the College Board's AP exam for their course. This exam is offered at school and all AP students are expected to take their class' AP exam. AP exams scores are not available until mid summer and do not affect a students grade in the course. If students do well on their AP exams they may be eligible for college credit (opportunity varies at each individual college). Students may chose which scores to send to colleges. AP students will be required to join their class section on the College Board's website and must know their own account login information to do this. For more information about the AP program, visit https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/
The Pre-ACT is offered once in the Spring to all 10th grade students at no cost. Other grade levels are not able to take the Pre-ACT This test is a practice for the ACT test and a great opportunity for students to become more familiar with this standardized test. For more information about the Pre-ACT, visit https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/preact.html
11th grade students will have the opportunity to take either the SAT or ACT once in the Spring of the Junior year. We recommend that students begin taking the SAT and/or ACT after completing Algebra 2. We typically recommend that students take both the SAT and ACT once to see if either of the tests is a better fit for them than the other. If that is the case they may want to focus on that test specifically and practice for it and take it again to improve their score or they can continue to take both more times.
We have complied the list to the right of available resources, both tutors and programs for a cost and free resources are listed. This list does not necessarily contain all options and we do not recommend one list over another.
Please don't hesitate to consult with your Counselor about the best path forward for you with testing and testing support.
Students who qualify for Free or Reduced may be eligible for a fee waiver for the SAT and/or ACT and should talk to their School Counselor about options.
Students who receive accommodations in school based on a 504 plan or IEP are NOT automatically eligible for accommodations on the PSAT, SAT, AP Exams or the ACT.
