Honor Societies

Honor Societies are organizations for students that are generally based on application status, GPA, and/or invitations to join. Not all fit this criteria, so please reach out to the sponsor(s) with additional questions.

If you are interested in joining or learning more about an honor society, please contact the society's teacher sponsor(s) or student leader(s)!

Beta Club: It is an honors society that promotes leadership by volunteering at events and completing service projects at school and in the community.

International Thespian Society: This is a club for any and all theatre lovers! We chat about current theatre happenings, put on workshops, and will be volunteering within our community this year. *This is in conjunction with the Thespian Club

National Honors Society (NHS): The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in students of Lucy Beckham High School.
