It includes job outlooks, desirable soft skills, diploma and college entrance requirements, career clusters and other pertinent resources for students. Please download this manual as it contains information that is beneficial throughout students' high school careers.
College Board
Visit the College Board website to register for the SAT, check registration deadlines, or view Advanced Placement PSAT or SAT scores.
ACT
Visit the ACT website to register for the ACT as well as view and send test scores to colleges.
Next Generation Accuplacer
The Accuplacer is the course placement exam for Trident Technical College. High school students and graduates typically qualify for college-level courses by submitting Accuplacer, SAT or ACT scores. To schedule an appointment to take this exam, you must contact Testing Services at Trident. For additional information and campus locations, please visit TTC's website via the link below. A study guide is available through College Board.
Sylvan Learning Center of Mt. Pleasant offers FREE SAT and ACT practice tests throughout the year. If you're interested, contact them via email at raymcgrath2@gmail.com or mpattimcgrath@gmail.com. You may also call 843-352-7364 to register. Space is limited. Preference is given to juniors (rising seniors).
Naviance
Naviance is college and career readiness resource that allows students to research college options as well as explore career interests and post-secondary goals. Through this site students may take career assessments, use college match tools, and create resumes to assist them with their college and career aspirations. Students can access their Naviance accounts through their student portal.
