The 2025 Youth Apprenticeship application reopened in February of 2025. Visit the Trident Technical College website to learn about available career opportunities and start planning early. Once positions are filled for each major, the application process closes. 

If you are a rising junior, rising senior or graduating senior, this program IS FOR YOU!!!

If you have questions regarding apprenticeships, please contact Mrs. Kaufman at ellen.kaufman@tridentech.edu. You may also meet with your career counselor or career specialists in the CAS. Their contact information is provided at the bottom of the page.

Youth Apprenticeship PowerPoint Presentation 

An internship is a professional learning experience for students 16 or older that offers meaningful and practical work related to a student's field of study or career interest. This work-based learning opportunity enhances career exploration and development as well introduces new professional skills. Certain internships may qualify for high school credit. Students may contact the ECCAS career counselor and career specialists to discuss internship opportunities. To learn more about CCSD internships, visit the district CTE website. Required documents and interest forms can be found on the site.

Job Shadowing is an educational program in which students can explore a particular profession to see if the career may be suitable for them. Through this experience students will observe an employee in a field of interest for short period of time. To access required forms for Job Shadowing, visit  the district CTE website.
