Positive Affirmations

All of us have a steady stream of thoughts running through our heads. Alot of the time, those thoughts are not helpful and can make us doubt ourselves or be afraid to do something new or take healthy risks like saying hi to someone new. Positive affirmations are single sentences of encouragement and can be helpful in conquering the negative thoughts. Meditation is a great way to calm your mind, sleep better and relieve feelings of anxiety, stress and anger.

Smiling Mind was created by a nonprofit company for people of all ages. It offers a variety of programs that specialize in topics such as how to meditate, relationships and getting better sleep. It even helps you to track your progress while establishing a daily meditation practice. You'll also find lots of audio tracks to help you relax and clear your mind.

Insight Timer has lots of free things like meditations, music, inspiring talks and audio recordings. It also has free courses taught by some of the most inspiring leaders in wellness research.

UCLA Mindful is brought to us by the University of California Los Angeles Mindful Awareness Research Center. The app offers lots of wellness meditations and podcasts.
