1.We were liars -This was a very interesting and also slightly haunting book that had a major twist at the end. I really enjoyed all the complex characters, storylines and I was not expecting the twist at the end. I would recommend to anyone in secondary school.
2.Bad influence - I really enjoyed this funny but enlightening book about the dangers of social media and sending photos to people. I related to the main character a lot and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has ever felt the need to fit in.
3. Death on the Nile - I absolutely adored this thrilling murder mystery that had me on the edge of my seat. It was so clever and satisfying to see all the different side-stories that contributed to the solving of the murder and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves murder mystery.

Her and the other pupils have done something wicked. But what did she do? All Faye knows is that this island isn’t what it seems and that she needs to find out more.

It was an extraordinary tale and I enjoyed reading it. The way Hiba Noor Khan described everything with such detail made me feel like I was in it.
My personal favourite character was Safiyyah because she was tolerant, brave, patient, and kind to everyone, no matter the religion or the colour of their skin. I love animals, so one of my favourite scenes was when she found the cat “Bonbon” and the other kittens including Crème, Croissant and the bird Émeraulde.
Hanah, the Jewish girl from school, was interrogated by the Nazis and I felt really bad for her because of the way she was treated. She was put through so many hardships trying to be accepted as a Jewish girl.
The story was just fascinating and thought provoking and I loved it in so many ways!
