10th Grade Trip To Cal State LA

On Monday April 15th 2024, me and all of my classmates in 10th grade went on a field trip to Cal State LA, a college campus in the valley. We had to arrive at school before 8:00 AM to get there, and as the first person there I had waited for all of my classmates to arrive to make our way onto the buses. The bus ride was pretty fun. I got to chill with my friends, we stayed in this group for most of the day and it all started on this bus ride.

We arrived an hour and a half later and made our way to the entrance of the campus. First we had a guided tour, and then once the tour was done we were allowed to separate into our own groups and explore whatever corner of the campus we wanted. We could get lunch or walk around to get used to the campus if we were to go to this college after graduation. I love exploring new places, and me and my friends immediately went looking around to find interesting stuff. We got hungry and went towards the pizza shop for lunch. They were tired and took a break, but I was ready to go around again and see if I could spot anyone. I mainly explored the area around the pizza place to avoid getting lost and promptly came back to get my friends to come back outside. Once we did, we found a bigger group of people we knew and decided to keep walking until we reached the other side of the campus. 

Upon returning, we sat down for a couple of minutes before our time was up and we had to go back to the buses. I went back to Bus 2, which was the same bus I took to get there. We were all a little tired on the way back and may have dozed off near the end of the trip back. It felt like a 20 minute drive, although it might have been longer in real time but shorter in my head. Once we arrived back I went to Room 100 for Digital Media class. The rest of my day was otherwise pretty chill. Overall it was an amazing experience and I enjoy taking field trips with my friends.🐾
