Stephanie and I (Melissa) rated No One Will Save You a 7 out of 10. The reason behind this is because the film wasn’t very scary and contained virtually no talking. In spite of this, it was still a good film. The thing that was missing most was the talking to bring more intensity and fear while watching it; but overall it was still a great movie to watch.
The movie is about an alien intruding into a girl's house, Brynn Adams. They try to kill her, but she hides from the aliens in order to survive. One alien almost gets her but she ends up killing it. Then, just as she thought it was over, the aliens surrounded her and ended up making her swallow a weird ball which caused her to start hallucinating and think she was seeing her old friend Maude.
Once she sees Maude, she realizes it is a hallucination and tries to get rid of the ball which she eventually succeeded in doing. Then, she started to run after she saw their spaceship and was confused because she saw something that looked identical to her; it’s called a lookalike. The lookalike then stabbed her and she grabbed the knife and killed it.
Thinking it was over again, she walked home, injured. However, the spaceship then hovered over her and the aliens captured her. It was pitch black in their ship and Brynn was utterly terrified.
This movie is a horror film about grief, pain, fear, trauma and how to get over it. Although it was confusing at the beginning, it all made sense in the end. It’s a very good movie to watch. It’s streaming on Hulu.🐾
