The Champs library is hopefully expected to open during finals week. If not then, it will open starting next school year. It will hopefully be open to students in the morning and during lunch.
The people working on the library are always open to book donations. Since they started, they have accumulated a total of 300-400 books and are still getting more.
The Champs community wanted projects for the juniors and seniors to work on, so they voted on different ideas. The majority wanted to do the library. They thought it was important for Champs to have a library so students could explore the world of reading, as some students do not have the resources to get books.
This library is a great thing for the school community. It could help improve students' literacy levels. Some people don't have access to books, and the library could help them get access to them. Also, people who need a quiet place to get their work done and study could benefit from the library just as much as the people who want to check out books.
Students will likely enjoy the library because they will get to read more and, in return, they will learn to enjoy it. This could improve their writing and reading abilities. The more you read the more words you know, so people's vocabularies will expand. Overall, the students will definitely benefit from having a library. 🐾
