The VHS Rams Varsity Girls soccer team made history on Thursday night in capturing the program’s first-ever match victory on their home turf at Ram Stadium. The Lady Rams squad captured an exciting 2 – 1 victory over the visiting team from Eufaula High School. Additionally, the win for the Lady Rams was their first-ever against the Lady Tigers Class 6A rival from Eufaula. The Valley High soccer team played an extremely hard-fought game last night against Russell County. No goals were scored until the final few minutes, and while the Rams had plenty of shots on goal, none were able to fall in. The final score ended in a one-to-nothing victory for the visiting Warriors. To some watching, this seemed like an entirely different Valley team.
