We are delighted to share that we have reached the new milestone of 4000 Cr of the quality portfolio. As Chaitanya emerges as one of the fastest-growing MFIs in India, one major component which remained firm is the quality of the portfolio over the years. Onboarding quality customers and optimizing the collection process with a process-driven approach is the foundation for the organization's success. As credit underwriting plays a crucial role in maintaining a quality portfolio, the outgrowth of the fintech underwriting tools is giving an edge in quality customer selection. Since microfinance is a people-oriented industry the amalgamation of robust credit rule tools and purposeful human intervention will enable us to scale up the business rapidly and take more accurate decisions. Being a part of this expeditiously growing organization opens the door to incredible opportunities for people in every department. At Chaitanya, we prioritize learning and development programs as we understand the importance of continuous learning. Our 3-day Induction program includes introductive sessions of all the departments to help the new joiners know about the organisation in an interactive way. CSR Activities
Rural Youth Skill Development Program
Chaitanya aims to empower our youth by developing their work-oriented skills. We joined hands with the We Care Society (WCS) and trained more than 200 participants from the Mandya and Ramnagara districts of Karnataka. The training program included Computer Data Entry, Warehousing - Assistant, Machine Operation – Fitter, Computer Literacy & Data Entry, and Micro Finance Executive. We believe that these courses will be of great benefit to the participants and will help them to become self-reliant in future.
Flood Relief and Water Purifier Distribution
Chaitanya works for the overall development of the lower and middle-class population. Corporate social responsibilities are a way to add value through our work in society. In this quarter, we distributed ration kits and basic needs products in the flood-affected areas of Ayodhya, Ashok Nagar and Mysore. We installed water purifiers and coolers at 101 locations including schools, colleges, police stations, gram panchayats and hospitals in all our operating locations.

My journey with Chaitanya started 3 years back as a Unit Manager in the Aurangabad region. On the 3rd of October 2022, I met with an accident when I was travelling for work. As I was wearing a helmet, I got saved from a major injury and only my left hand got fractured. I always wear a helmet and make my team wear it too.
I was admitted to the hospital for six days and took a rest at home for three months. During my recovery period, my senior officers were regularly checking on my health condition and were providing all the required support. During this time Chaitanya did not let me face any financial hardships, for which I will always be grateful. And that is why Chaitanya is unique. I am proud to be an employee of Chaitanya.
Thanks to senior officers Mr Siddharth Uke sir and Mr Raju Dhondge sir for helping me in my difficult situation. I would like to express my special thanks to Mr Binit Jha sir for his valuable support and guidance. From this experience, I would like to request everyone wear a helmet while driving.

Manishaben Rajput is a part of the Chaitanya family from Mansa, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Manishaben used to do silver Zari work on Chania Cholis in Rajasthan, post getting married in a joint family in Mansa, Ahmedabad, she learnt to stitch Chaniya Cholis from her mother-in-law and planned to take stitching as a profession. She took a loan from Chaitanya to purchase a sewing machine and the required materials and started earning Rs. 250 per day. Her mother-in-law teaches stitching to their neighbours free of cost to help them become independent. Chaitanya’s timely financial support helps Manishaben and her family to live a satisfactory life.
Foundation Day
Chaitanya celebrates its foundation day on 2nd November. On this day we chose to celebrate this occasion with special people. We donated daily need products to the Prerna resource centre, a care centre for differently abled young women, situated in Bangalore. We have also set up a blood donation camp at our head office in Bangalore. In our other operational areas, we conducted activities like donations for orphanages and old age homes, tree plantations and blood donation camps.
