Class Description: In this class, we will explore the fundamentals of digital art using Procreate on the iPad, a leading app for both hobbyists and professionals. Whether your child is a beginner or have experience, this course offers a structured approach to mastering essential tools, techniques, and creative possibilities. As students become more familiar with the tools, they will begin creating their own digital art projects. By the end of the course, they will have a refined piece of artwork and the skills to continue developing as digital artists.

In this fun-filled summer camp, young artists will explore two exciting printmaking techniques—relief printing with styrofoam and collagraph printing using textured materials. Inspired by the beauty of nature, campers will create vibrant prints of bugs, sea turtles, and butterflies, bringing their favorite creatures to life in bold colors and patterns. Through hands-on experimentation, they’ll discover the joy of layering textures, mixing colors, and making multiple prints of their masterpieces. This camp challenges students to think critically about how human actions affect the planet. Through engaging Breakout EDU puzzles and escape challenges, students will explore real-world environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation, climate change, and conservation efforts. By working together to unlock mysteries and solve challenges, they will develop problem-solving skills while gaining a deeper understanding of sustainability and their role in protecting the Earth.
Although Breakout EDU is also offered in Week 1, each week features a completely different theme, so students are welcome to join both sessions for a unique experience!
