A school song is a song to describe a school. So, if you're stuck, ask yourself this question: How would you describe the school today?

Eligibility:
Must be a member of R.E.A.L Schools Cheras Campus (students, teachers, staff)
Only a maximum of 3 person per group is allowed
Submissions must be:
Pronounceable (Junior/Year 3 comprehensibility)
Less than 1:30 minutes
Written in English
Meaningful
Avoid using these in your submissions:
Vulgar of offensive wording
Names of people
Derogatory terms
Plagiarism or any forms of copying
We highly recommend you sending a voice recording of you singing or humming your lyrics to further introduce your ideas.
1. By submitting, you allow slight changes to your work in terms of song duration, music composition and lyrics etc, if needed. You will however be updated and oversee the changes, and are able to communicate, provide feedback and voice your concerns to the music composing team and to producers.
2. Your lyrics, if chosen will be considered a property of the R.E.A.L Schools Cheras Campus. Credit will be given to your work at the end of the school's music video.
3. If no melody is provided along with your lyric submission, you allow the music composing team all freedom to create the melody and make necessary changes to your lyrics if needed to fit the music composing team's melody (refer back to point 1).
3. For groups, we will only provide one set of the prizes (excluding certificates and merit points) no matter the number of group members there are.
It is recommend to write your lyrics on a Google Docs File. You may use your own methods to write the lyrics. The file must be a document. The following is for those who need help
[1] Open the "Docs" app on your iPad
[2] Sign in with your school Google Account
[3] Press the plus button that the bottom right
[4] Press "New document"
[5] Give your document a name then press "Create"
[6] If you are working in a team, press the tick button, then press the icon with a person and a plus at the top right. Type in your teammate name and select your teammate's email. Press on "Viewer" and change it to "Editor". Once done, press the arrow plane icon to invite them to collaborate. This will send an email to your teammate. They must open their email to view and edit the document
[7] Write the lyrics in the Google Doc file
[3] Return to this page and scroll down to submit
[8] Press on "Next" twice and fill up all details
[9] Click "Add File".
[10] Press on "My Drive"
[11] Find the Google Doc that you have written your lyrics on
[12] Press "Select"
[13] Proceed with the rest of the form
You may use your own methods to submit the file. The following is for those who need help
[1] On your iPad, open Voice Memos
[2] If this is your first time opening it, press continue until you are greeted with a blank section
[3] Press the red button at the bottom left
[4] Begin singing your lyrics or humming it out.
[5] Once done, press the "Done"
[6] Press the Share icon at the top left at the playback window
[7] Press 'Save to Files"
[8] Press "On My iPad" or any other location you know
[9] Press "Save"
[10] Return to the Google Form
[11] Press "Add File" on the "Melody submission"
[12] Press "Select files from your device"
[13] Go find the Voice recording that you just saved onto your iPad
[14] Press it
[15] Press "Upload at the bottom left"
[16] Continue with the rest of the form
