At the beginning of each Reading Unit (there are 7 Units), a handout of the High Frequency words for the Unit will be sent home. Please practice these words each night to help you become a better reader. A Unit consists of 4 weeks. During the 5th week you will be tested on the Unit's words. You should be able to read all of the High Frequency words in each Unit by the end of 1st grade.
