We will have a short (10-15 minute) healthy snack each day. Please pack the snack in a separate bag from your lunch bag. All snacks must be peanut/nut free and not manufactured in a facility that also processes peanuts.
Acceptable snacks include: fruits (peeled and sliced, please), vegetables, pretzels, goldfish/bite-sized crackers, raisins, yogurt/Gogurt, and string cheese or sticks.
Unacceptable snack choices: granola bars, cookies, large crackers, potato chips, or foods of minimal nutritional value, applesauce, fruit cups, dips, cheese spreads, pudding cups, juices, sodas, etc.
You may bring water to drink during snack and during the course of the day. Milk will be available to order for snack as well. On half days a larger snack may be brought in. Thank you in advance for helping to keep all children healthy and safe.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS:
Please remember these are NON-FOOD celebrations. You may send in a small token to be distributed to the class. Some suggestions are stickers, pencils, crayons/coloring books, etc. Of course, this is optional.
PERSONAL BOOKS:
Please keep a book in your desk at all times to read for pleasure when your work is completed.
