Farwell Middle School SPARKS Students had the opportunity to participate in a district wide Esports tournament. Students had a lot of fun and met new faces and made some friends. The tournament was a great opportunity for students to share their interests and learn new things. I am so proud of our students in their participation as well as their sportsmanship.

Students did a great job working together as well as stepping out of their comfort zone to try new things. The Midland Community Curling Center was a great field trip and students had an opportunity to work with Farwell High School Ignite students during this trip. They all did a great job!

Farwell Middle School 6th & 7th grade students participated in a STEM Challenge to see who can make the longest chain using just one piece of paper. The strategies used by each pair yielded different results but was a fun activity that stretched our thinking.
Farwell Middle School Students on their tubing field trip to Snow Snake. We had a lot of fun, the weather was great, and the kids enjoyed their time together with friends while they enjoyed smores, sitting by the fire and hot chocolate. This trip has become a tradition that we all look forward to.
