As per tradition, the previous year's CGAIT Cup winner will determine the topic for the award. The 2023 CGAIT Cup winner was Larry Garlick from City of Westminster and they have determined the 2024 CGAIT Cup topic is:
AI and Your Organization: the good, the bad, the unexpected!
In your experience, what has been the most effective use of AI in your organization, and why? Illustrate how this AI implementation has not only improved efficiency and spurred innovation, but also adhered to security practices within your specific setting. Further, outline the challenges met during the integration process, and the measures taken to address them.
Get ready to share your story!
Informally get up in front of the group (no Powerpoint presentations etc...) and give it your best shot describing how you best fit the CGAIT Cup's topic.
No need to submit anything beforehand or tell anyone that you'll be participating. When we open up the mic for the Cup, anyone that wants can get up and present. Presentations generally last between 3-6 minutes.
Past presentations are generally a mix of humor and serious accomplishments.
Winner is normally decided by informal vote from the attendees present.
Must be present at the conference to throw your name in the hat for the CGAIT Cup.
The CGAIT Cup for 2024 will directly follow dinner either Monday or Tuesday at one of our off site dinner locations.
