Horseback riding on Saddleback Ranch is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Colorado scenery, take some gorgeous pictures, and learn about the cattle. There is an excellent chance of seeing wildlife on this horseback riding excursion near Steamboat. You will enjoy a 2 hour trail ride.
What to wear/bring: Please dress appropriately for the outdoors. Even when it's cool or cloudy, the Colorado sun can be strong, so wear sunscreen. We recommend long pants and close toed shoes. Also bring sunglasses and a jacket because the weather can change quickly. Don't forget your camera.

The tours at Mythology Distillery will be a chance for visitors to learn about the art of craft distilling and the unique process behind each of our spirits. Our knowledgeable guides will take guests through every step of the production process, from the selection of the finest ingredients to the distillation and bottling of the finished product. The tour includes tasting glass and spirits sampling.
What to wear/bring: We will be both indoors and outdoors for this activity, please dress appropriately. You will have an opportunity to purchase spirits and swag at the distillery.

You may be more comfortable in casual shoes, but the most activity you will be engaging in may be squatting down to get a closer look at something. IF you wear reading glasses, bring them. Game lasts for one hour. Loud noises and mild special affects (like fog) should be expected.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs blends the pure natural beauty of the environment with the unique stone masonry of our thermal pools.
What to wear/bring: We recommend that you wear your swimsuit under your clothes to speed up getting into the pools. There is a changing room, but there can be a line to get in. Please bring towel, water in non-glass container. No alcohol allowed in shuttles or at springs. It is a short walk down to the hot springs, and back up to the parking lot.
The Panorama Trail is a relatively flat loop in the Buffalo Pass Recreation Area. Along the trail, we will pass through wildflower meadows and gambel oak slopes into densely wooded aspen groves. At the peak, we will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley. Along the way, your Yampatika Naturalist will point out flora and fauna, answer group questions, and speak to the unique natural beauty of the area. This is a beginner-friendly hike that will be enjoyable for all.
What to wear/bring: Please wear a hat, Light layers to block out the sun and bugs, Hiking shoes or solid sneakers, sandals are NOT recommended for this location,
Please brign Bug spray and Light snacks, A full water bottle, Sunscreen (best applied ahead of time), Any necessary medical equipment (inhaler, epi pen, etc.). A backpack or small bag to carry the above
What to expect: This is a mostly flat trail that covers a ~1.5 mile loop. There are restrooms at the trailhead, but no running water. We will be in and out of the shade, and bugs are common this time of year. With stopping, talking, and picture taking, we will be on the trail for ~1.5 hours.
