Hansen Elementary partners with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank's "Backpack Program," which provides non-perishable food items to be sent home with students over the weekends. School-Based Mental Health Counselor
School-Based Mental Health Counselor
Hansen Elementary partners with Blackhawk-Grundy Mental Health Center to provide school-based mental health counseling for students in need of additional mental health support. Our school-based therapist is at Hansen every Monday and sees students throughout the school day. However, school counselors actively work to connect students and families with services in the community by making referrals.
