Proud resident of Central Falls all of his life. Known for being a passionate mentor. Mentors like him often inspire and guide others with enthusiasm and dedication. His commitment to helping our youth grow and succeed can have a profound impact on their mentees' lives and careers.

I'm a resident of Central Falls and an alum of the Central Falls School District. I recently graduated from Roger Williams University with a degree in Forensic Science and a specialization in Public Health. Contributing to my community is something I value deeply, and I'm thrilled about the positive changes and opportunities unfolding in CF and I look forward to being a part of its continued progress.

Hey everyone, my name is Jeasly Ochoa, I am from Central Falls! I am currently a Pod Leader for the Central Falls school district; I work specifically with the high school students. A little about me is that I am Guatemalan and speak fluent Spanish, 20 years old. Went to all the public schools in Central Falls and I am now in college pursuing a degree in Education. My favorite quote is "I’m not saying I’m going to change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world."

Hello, my name is Nayeli Vazquez, and I grew up in Central Falls. I am currently a student at Rhode Island College with one semester left and will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in Theatre. I’m glad I can give back and help others out, and I look forward to what the future holds for the community and myself.  

Karen M graduated in 2022 with a degree in nursing from CCRI, where she was drawn to the challenging and rewarding field of nursing. She joined the Pod Program to help students in her community. She attended CCRI to gain hands-on experience in a simulated clinical setting, which she believed would help her build confidence and prepare her for the demands of the nursing profession. By participating in the Pod Program, Karen aimed to develop her critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, which she knew would be essential for success as a nurse. 

This program was created to transform students' lives, and without realizing it, it transformed mine. I believe every student deserves to be in a program like this, where tHey are heard, supported, and valued.

Since I started working in learning pods i’ve grown professionally. I learned how to explain things more clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and stay patient. It also taught me how to connect with students and support them in a more personal way.
