School Counseling Program Mission

Our school counseling program mission is to assist students in overcoming barriers that impede learning by implementing a standards-based comprehensive school counseling program that:

• Includes a curriculum addressing the needs of all students in academic, personal/social, and career development
• Provides specialized interventions based on identified student needs
• Assists students in acquiring appropriate attitudes, knowledge, and communication skills to promote healthy relationships
• Advocates for all students encouraging them to develop to their fullest potential

Counselor Mission

As an elementary counselor, my goal is to work in partnership with teachers, administrators, parents/guardians, and students. This partnership will help ensure that all students at Keith Elementary have the opportunities they need to acquire the knowledge and skills to meet their highest potential, become lifelong learners, and responsible, contributing citizens in our society.
