This year we will not be formally assigning homework. After looking through and analyzing the research we have found that the homework we were assigning was not supporting your student as it was intended. Instead of formal homework assignments, there will be other opportunities presented to you and your child to support their learning.
Nightly reading is encouraged.
Spending time as a family is encouraged. During this time you may study for upcoming tests, practice math facts, spelling, etc.
In science it is encouraged that your child look over the content learned that day in their science study guide. In addition, I will upload links to science games as more content is taught.
