Kevin Waters
Coach Kevin Waters is entering his 19th year as an educator and coach and is in his 2nd year at Bridgeland High School. Prior to Bridgeland Coach Waters spent 4 years at A&M Consolidated High School where he was a History Teacher and the Head Boys XC and Track Coach. Prior to his tenure in College Station Coach Waters has been a professor/coach at the junior college level as well as teaching and coaching in several private school in San Antonio and Houston. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Physical Education at the University of Houston. A two time Kansas 5A State Champion and record holder in the 800m and a member of 2 State Championship Cross Country Teams, Coach Waters competed as a NCAA Division I Track athlete in the mid 1980’s at The University of Kansas. He currently holds certificates as a USA Track & Field Level 2 Sprints/Hurdles/Relays Coach, Level 2 Endurance Event Coach, and as a Level 1 Coaching Education Instructor. Kevin is also a USAT&F certified official and has served as the Head Umpire for multiple NCAA Division I and II Track & Field National Championships.
