Registration 2026-2027 Details

CFISD Preschool Directors kindly request that your family register at only one campus. Registration information is shared between campuses, and registering at multiple locations will delay your confirmation.

Once you have completed ALL of your registration paperwork (including the doctor’s signature), please email the director to schedule an appointment. Appointments will start on Wednesday, Jan. 28th.

To ensure a smooth and positive experience for everyone, all preschool children must be fully potty-trained (no pull-ups) to participate in the program. High school student teachers will only assist with handwashing; children are expected to use the restroom independently.

Registration packets will be available to print at 7:00 A.M. on Monday, January 26, via our preschool website. Every CFISD high school early learning lab has its own packet. The registration paperwork may look similar, but it remains specific to each campus. Registration packets from a different campus will not be accepted.

All registration paperwork should be completed before emailing the director to schedule an appointment. Completed Applications MUST include your child's Doctor's Signature on the designated medical form in our packet. This form may not be faxed. Along with the medical form, an updated copy of your child's shot record must be submitted to the director during your scheduled registration appointment.

When your packet has been completed in its entirety, email mikayla.cater@cfisd.net to request an appointment to submit your packet. Appointments will be assigned to families based on the time the email request is received. When all spots for the upcoming school year are filled, a Wait List will be formulated. If your child is unable to be registered at Bridgeland HS preschool, we highly recommend contacting one of the high school programs nearby before adding your child's name to the waitlist.

Registration Process

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin January 26th, 2026.
Registration Packets will be available on the Preschool website the day registration opens:

All paperwork must be complete for the Packet to be accepted. Please be aware that one of the forms requires a signature from your child's doctor, and your child's current shot records must be included with the packet (verified by your child's doctor).
Completed Registration Packets must be returned directly to Mikayla Cater, the Preschool Director. Please email her to schedule an appointment at mikayla.cater@cfisd.net . You must have an appointment to submit a Registration Packet. No appointments will be made before 1:15pm. Please do not schedule an appointment until all paperwork has been completed and is in your possession (including the forms requiring a doctor's signature).
Appointments will begin on January 28th
Once all openings are filled, Registration for the next school year will be closed. We will only be able to add names to our Wait List, so we highly recommend you inquire at one of the other nearby campuses. Contact information for other campuses is located at the bottom of this page.
A Registration Fee of $50 is required once your placement in the program has been confirmed. Payment must be made via SchoolCashOnline (link provided at time of acceptance).

Children eligible for the Preschool Program

We have a 3-yr-old class and a 4-yr-old class at Bridgeland HS Preschool.
Children must be 3-yrs-old as of September 1, 2026 for the 3's class.
Children must be 4-yrs-old as of September 1, 2026 for the 4's class.
Families must live within the Cy-Fair ISD boundaries.
Children must be fully potty-trained to be a part of this program.
