Logging Into Progress Learning

Progress Learning Quick Start Guide.pdf

Teachers:

You can access CFB Connect by going to Digital Resources for Teachers and clicking the big CFB Connect button at the top of the page. From there you will log in with your CFB credentials. Once in you can select the app to use, such as Progress Learning.

Grades K-1 (iPads):

CFB Connect/ClassLink has QR codes called Quick Cards, just like Clever Badges. Follow these directions to download them. Keep in mind that students will now have 2 QR codes, one for CFB Connect/ClassLink and one for Clever, so you might need a way to differentiate the two. Printing them on color paper might be an easy distinction.

*Students might have to sign in once with their username and password before using Quick Cards*

Students will click on the ClassLink app. From there they can type in their CFB Credentials or click the QR code button to scan their Quick Cards. Once in they can select the app to use, such as Progress Learning.

Grades 2nd-12th Grade (Chromebooks):

Access is through CFB Connect by going to Digital Resources for Students and clicking the big CFB Connect button at the top of the page. From there you will log in with your CFB credentials. Once in you can select the app to use, such as Progress Learning.

Troubleshooting Tips:

This screen appears once in to Classlink then clicking on Progress Learning – wait a few seconds, swipe shut apps, close safari tabs, and log back in to Classlink

ANOTHER temporary solution - you can click 'use my location' > allow location access > find Carrollton Farmers Branch in the list > student logs back in again

Students missing when printing Classlink quickcards – log student in one time to Classlink/CFB Connect using the student's district ID# & password (not qr code) as this seems to activate their Classlink account. To do this:

log student in on their ipad through Classlink using student log in info or the teacher can use Chrome incognito mode on their laptop to log student in from the Digital Resources page > Classlink/CFB Connect. Once the student has logged in to Classlink one time using their district ID# & password, then the teacher can go back in to their teacher Classlink page (or refresh if already there) to print the quickcard(s).
