Davis Library is looking for 3rd through 5th graders to help spread the love of books, reading, and our amazing library! To do this, we'll make TikTok-like videos to show off our favorite books, come up with book display ideas, and get new books to check out before the rest of the school...you know, so you can convince everyone else to read them!
You'll also be decked out in awesome t-shirts, special book buttons, specially designed decals for your water bottles, and so. much. more!
Are you ready to join us? Keep on reading to find out how!
The first step to becoming an CARD is to apply! Complete this application to get your influencer portfolio.
You will need a teacher to endorse you (that means to back you up) so we know you really love reading and sharing it with others. Reach out to any of your reading teachers, past or present, and have them complete the bottom section of the application.
Get a paper copy of the application from Mrs. Cox.
Visit: bit.ly/DAV_BT to record your book talk!
Keep it simple!
You do NOT need to share your face. Just show the cover and record your voice. Use a filter. Be creative!
Get a paper template from Mrs. Cox, or create your own using Google Slides, Adobe Spark, or some other program!

Grab your favorite picture book and share it with a K-2 grade class. You can ask your teacher or me to help you arrange a time. Have the teacher take a picture so we can show it off!
