About the library

My name is Susan Cox, and I have the privilege of starting my 11th year at Davis as librarian.  I am so grateful to be YOUR librarian and to help my students and staff connect to books, information, and learning.  I graduated with my B.A. in history from Abilene Christian University in 1994 and with my M.S. in Library and Information Science in 2012.  Somewhere in there I married my husband of almost 32 years, Michael, and we had two cool sons, one of whom is in college and one of whom is an engineer at DFW.  We have one amazing dog, Ivy.  In my spare time, I love to read, paint, garden (if the temperature is under 90 degrees), walk, hike, and camp.
